We guarantee that your room will be available from 3 p.m. Earlier occupancy is possible upon request. Arrival is possible until 9:30 p.m. or by arrangement.

What a pity! But every journey has an end. We hope you had a pleasant stay and wish you a safe journey home. Please vacate your room by 11 a.m.

We are happy to provide our guests with baby equipment such as a baby bed and baby food warmer free of charge upon request. Just ask us. Our room tablet also has a baby monitor function.

Bedding

If you would like an additional duvet or pillow, please inform our staff or ask housekeeping. If you would like your bed linen changed daily, please inform us before arrival. We charge an additional fee of €5 per person.

Payment for hotel services

You can have the restaurant bill countersigned for your control and charged to your room for payment upon departure. Please settle your bill at the hotel reception before departure.

For longer stays, we will be happy to send you an interim invoice for your own review. When our guests leave, we are careful to make it as personal, convenient and discreet as possible. This includes preparing and presenting the invoice for your own review. We want to protect your privacy by preparing it so that people standing nearby do not get any information about services, costs and the like. We prefer cash or Giro/EC/Maestro card. Other payment options are Visa and Mastercard (not preferred due to the high commissions). Of course, we do not charge any additional commission fees.

Books

We have a selection of books for children and adults in the display case in the hotel entrance. Please help yourself and put the books back when you have finished with them. If you haven't finished, please take it with you if you put another book in the case - thank you!

There are several supermarkets in Hermannsburg. The nearest is EDEKA at Celler Straße 18, opening hours are 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Our reception is open from 7 a.m. to approximately 7 p.m.

There is always a contact person on site to answer your questions and requests.

bike tours

We offer a cycling and hiking map as well as tips for cycling and hiking tours on loan. Have you brought your own bikes? We have our own parking space for them. Please do not block car parking spaces with bikes! You are also welcome to park your bikes in our barn, which is locked at night.

We are also happy to offer you our bicycle tools and if there is not enough air in the tire, we have a small compressor that can do the job in no time.

Gym

There is a gym in Hermannsburg with the most modern training equipment and fitness classes.

We would be happy to put you in touch. You can purchase day tickets there.

Fly screens

Where available, we would like to ask you not to open the fly screens as they are fixed and serve to protect against mosquitoes.

We hope that nothing ever happens. Our guest rooms and public areas have smoke detectors. There are fire extinguishers on every floor. Please familiarize yourself with the hotel's escape routes on the day of your arrival.

In the event of a fire, please remain calm and keep windows and doors closed. Please leave the building via the marked emergency exits and follow the instructions of the staff.

Breakfast

Our breakfast times are from 7.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. during the week and from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on weekends.

If you are unable to have breakfast at the times stated, please contact us the evening before so that we can prepare a separate breakfast for you if necessary.

Guestbook

We have a guest book on the dresser in the hotel entrance and would be delighted if you would leave us a little farewell message when you leave.

ATM

The nearest ATM is located at Lotharstraße 3 in 29320 Hermannsburg (Volksbank and Sparkasse almost next to each other).

The mineral water in the room is for your free enjoyment. You are welcome to order other drinks below during the restaurant opening hours.

Luggage service

We will be happy to take your luggage to your room or back to your car. Please speak to our staff.

Hairdryer

A hairdryer is provided in each bathroom.

Pets / Dogs

They are welcome in the entire hotel (except during breakfast time) after registration. Dogs, YES and very welcome, but they must be 'hotel-friendly' and clean, i.e. not barking. The animals must not be left unsupervised for long periods of time, ie alone in the room for a long period of time. More than four/five hours is a "no-go". Dogs are allowed in our restaurant. We charge €10.00 per dog/night.

The guest is liable without limitation for all contamination and damage as well as downtime costs during the repair period.

Front door key

Please take it with you if you want to leave the hotel or return later than 10:30 p.m. For security reasons, we would like to point out that the loss of the room key must be reported immediately. In the event of loss, we have to charge our expenses of around €250.00 per cylinder for a new entrance door and room cylinder.

towels

We provide each guest with a bath towel and a hand towel. We are happy to change these daily. If you would like us to do this, please place the towels to be changed on the bathroom floor.

We offer our guests free Wi-Fi Internet access.

Coffee to go

is only possible in containers you bring with you, such as thermos cups or jugs. There is a charge for the coffee.

Children in the garden / children's swing

We ask for your understanding that children should only be in the garden/on the swing under the supervision of their parents or accompanying adults. This is especially true as our spacious garden has a pond and access to the Oertze.

Do you need a second pillow? Just let us know at reception or in housekeeping.

We are happy to provide you with a night light for your room upon request. Simply ask housekeeping or reception and we will provide you with a night light for the duration of your stay.

49 1733101771. If you are out and return after midnight, please take your room key with you, as this has a chip for the front door. The front door closes automatically at midnight.

Transportation

The next stop, line 200/230, in the direction of Hermannsburg is about 100 m away on foot, on Hermannsburger Str. The current timetable can be found on the guest information board.

We are happy to provide you with individual timetable information.

Oertze

The small heath river Oertze flows directly along our grounds and is ideal for a summer refreshment, but please do so at your own risk. The river is not very deep, but still has a considerable current, is wild and natural.

parking spot

Our guests have their own parking space (no registration necessary) available directly at the house. Motorcycles can of course also be parked in the parking lot. For parking options for bicycles, see Bicycles.

Smokers / Smoking ban

Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire estate, including in the rooms. If you have a room with a terrace, you can of course smoke on the terrace. Ashtrays are available on request from reception or from the service staff.

We therefore kindly ask our smoking guests to smoke only on the terraces and outdoors and to use the ashtrays provided.

In case of violation of the rules, we reserve the right to charge a fine of €200.

Umbrellas

You can borrow an umbrella free of charge from reception. In the interest of other guests, we ask you to return the umbrellas after use and ask for your understanding that we will charge you €15.00 for the loss.

Our restaurant with fresh cuisine serves hot meals from Tuesday to Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays the restaurant is open from 12:00 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. You are welcome to reserve a table in the restaurant. Please dial 200 for your telephone reservation or let us know at breakfast.

Damage

Please be so kind and report any damage such as broken glass or similar in the hotel room to housekeeping.
